Killings, poverty worsened after 2023 elections, say Obi supporters

Over 40 support groups of the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, have lamented poor state of the economy, saying insecurity and poverty worsened after the 2023 general election.

Some of the groups are Peter Obi Support Network (POSN), Peter ObiDatti Presidential Global Network (PPGN), Women for Peter Obi (WPO), Take Back Naija (TBN), Peter Obi Movement (POM), Peter Obi Vanguard Ambassadors (POVA), United Pastors For Peter Obi, and Nigeria Unites For Peter Obi (NUPO).

Speaking on behalf the groups, Michael Chukwujekwu, in a statement, yesterday, claimed that hardship, thuggery, deprivation, and killings became intense during and after the 2023 polls.
