The Association of Friends has called on governments at all levels to partner with it in the execution of major projects aimed at touching the lives of its members and residents around it.

The club’s President, Kole Olatunji, appealed ahead of the association’s 45th anniversary, residential night and induction of new members.

He said the government’s support at this time of the association was paramount, as the group, being a major social club, has been reversed to grants from the government and has yet to have such privileges in the past.

He urged the government for unquantifiable support, especially the launch of the N100 million development funds for the renovation of its Clubhouse during the anniversary celebration.

With a week-long event, scheduled to hold from Nov 21 in Lagos, Olatunji, said the pioneer members of the Club would be honoured, while new members would be inducted in a mixed programme of fun.
