Praise Akinlami’s journey starts in Abuja, Nigeria. “I grew up in an average household, which was worsened when I lost my mother at age 6,” Akinlami shares. The financial struggles he faced early on shaped his relentless drive to become financially independent. He noted, “I got my entrepreneurial spirit while looking for a way to make some money online in 2020 after my dad retired.”
While studying for his BSc in Civil Engineering at the University of Abuja, Akinlami already exhibited signs of his multifaceted talents. Not only did he graduate with an impressive 4.47 CGPA, but he also served as the Public Relations Officer and later the Faculty President, roles that he balanced alongside running his business. “Balancing school with business was challenging, but it taught me the importance of setting priorities,” he reveals.
Akinlami has a track record of not just setting but also smashing targets. While he was still in school, he generated about $461,000 in sales for a finance company.
But perhaps his most cherished achievement is his Academy, through which he has impacted lives across 13 countries. “The most amazing thing is seeing it in real-time. You will never understand that feeling if you don’t know where these people are coming from,” he notes.
Profitify Consulting was established in 2022 with a core objective to solve problems for both individuals and companies. However, its ambition extends far beyond just that. “Profitify is going to be one of the biggest marketing firms in the world and would have a lot of subsidiaries businesses under it, going into sectors like renewable energy, entertainment, and lots more,” Akinlami ambitiously outlines.
Currently, Praise Akinlami is working on his book about making money on the internet and developing programs on affiliate marketing and business habits. When asked about his ultimate goal, he says, “To become omnipresent and be the go-to guy when it comes to self-development and entrepreneurial growth in Nigeria. In that process, help as many people become better and financially stable.”
For aspiring professionals, Akinlami offers sage advice. “Be like your God and become a creator. Create something of value that people are willing to pay for. That’s how you’ll impact and get rich as well.” His personal philosophy echoes this: “Money is a function of the magnitude of value you can give, not the amount of value but how important the value is.”
