In a year that can only be described as meteoric, Balloranking, born Balogun Olamilekan, has solidified his position as the rising star of the street-hop scene. With his latest album dubbed, Ghetto Vibrations, the street-pop superstar charges the ember season in the grassroots with yet another inspirational record.

In the six-track EP, Balloranking invites listeners into his sonic verse of street-pop, which thrives with a vibrant fusion of dancehall and lamba-laden Afrobeats. He taps fellow street-rated musicians including Shallipopi, Odumodublvck, Hotkid, among others to deliver a slew of feel-good and didactic songs.

Balloranking soared in 2023 with the success of the resonant Trench Kid project which captured hearts and ears alike, earning acclaim as a true voice of the streets. It laid a perfect foundation for Balloranking to speak his truth while building anticipation for his debut album, Ghetto Gospel, which showcased him as Afrobeats’ minister of realities.
