Sanwo-Olu’s wife inaugurates clinic donated to church

Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, has donated a clinic to the African Cathedral Church in Ifako, Lagos.

Speaking at the inauguration, Wife of the Lagos State Governor, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, said the project was in honour of the permanent secretary’s late parents and was intended to help the less privileged access quality healthcare.

Sanwo-Olu, who conducted medical checkups on some beneficiaries, lauded Oke-Osanyintolu for the sophisticated medical equipment at the clinic. She called on Nigerians to support government’s efforts at providing basic amenities.

Diocesan Bishop of the church, Isaac Akinwunmi Falana, praised the initiative, saying it will serve people within the church and Ifako environs. He also called on government to subsidise the cost of drugs. During the ceremony, members of the congregation had their blood sugar level checked, besides other tests.
