The Southwest leader of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan, yesterday, congratulated Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde as he celebrates his 56th birthday today.

Olopoeyan conveyed warm felicitations to Governor Makinde, just as he prayed that God grants him many more years of commendable service to the people of Oyo and Nigeria.

The message reads: “On behalf of my family, supporters, and myself, I write to express warm felicitations to you on the landmark occasion of your 56th birthday anniversary.

“You have enjoyed so much of the exceeding grace of God to become what the world knows you as today, therefore, it is necessary to pay a tribute to you being a special man, an exceptionally bold and courageous homo sapien.

“Without mincing words, the masses as a whole recognise your performance in piloting the affairs of this great state to fruition and indeed affecting the lives of the entire citizens in positive ways.

“Your achievements in the last four and half years are unrivaled and worthy of emulation by all and sundry.

“My governor, you are a man who, by sheer providence, has excelled where most of his peers met the end of the road to their great dreams, it is a great honor to celebrate you on a special occasion like this.

“As you deservedly celebrate this glorious day, it is my prayer that Almighty God, who has richly prospered you and ordered your every step this past half century, will continue to bless you with good health and fulfillment in the many more years of worthy service ahead of you.”
