The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State Command, has said a yet to be identified woman was on Thursday night crushed to death by a truck at Dalemo area along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

Ogun Sector Commander of FRSC, Anthony Uga, who confirmed the incident, said the accident occurred at about 11:00 p.m.

Uga explained that the truck with registration number XA 354 WDP and two persons were involved in the accident.
The sector commander said that the truck lost control due to excessive speeding, hitting a female adult standing beside the road, resulting in the death of the victim.

The FRSC boss implored drivers against restless driving. Uga, nonetheless, commiserated with the family of the deceased, praying that God would grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
