Sobowale, Saka, Sanyeri, Macaroni address misogyny in Singleness is Bliss

The intriguing intersection of reality and fiction in the entertainment world were highlights of the ‘wedding ceremony’ between comedian and later day activist, Adebowale ‘Debo’ Adedayo, better known as Mr. Macaroni, and actress-cum-producer, Fisayo Ajisola-Borokinni in the star-studded movie, Singleness is Bliss.

With a unique blend of excitement both on and off the screen, the movie which aims to address the misogyny in the society – hatred or prejudice against women, typically exhibited by men, seems to have successfully sparked curiosity and anticipation.

Although, still in production process, the movie which was shot in various locations in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, featured celebrities including, Jide Kosoko, Sola Sobowale, Afeez Adetoro (Saka), Bimbo Akintola, and Olaniyi Afonja (Sanyeri), among others. It stands as a testament to Ajisola-Borokinni’s commitment to promoting cultural values.
