Osimhen in action for Napoli
Victor Osimhen’s strike against Barcelona has been nominated for the UEFA Champions League Goal of the Week award in the round of 16 first-leg fixtures.
UEFA announced Osimhen alongside three other nominees on their Champions League X handle on Thursday.
The other three players shortlisted are Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona, Galeno of FC Porto, and PSV star Donyell Malen.
The Super Eagles striker marked his return from the AFCON 2023, by equalising for Napoli after Lewandowski had given Barcelona the lead.
