NGT commits to restoring African hair beauty
Aimed towards ensuring that African women have healthy hairs, Natures Gentle Touch (NGT) has offered tips and products on hair loss, breakage, and dandruff prevention and rejuvenation.
Emphasising the importance of understanding one’s hair texture for effective hair care, Chief Executive Officer, Natures Gentle Touch, Chijioke Anaele, noted that not all hair products suit all hair as individual hair comes with different textures.
“Hair breakage occurs when the hair shaft weakens and snaps, often due to excessive heat, styling, chemical treatments etc. Dry, brittle hair results from a lack of moisture, making hair fragile and prone to breakage. This can be curbed by using moisturising products, minimising heat styling, protecting hair from environmental damage, and maintaining a balanced diet rich in nutrients.”
Anaele however urged women to have confidence in their natural hair and use suitable products.
“Engaging in hair care tailored to one’s hair type and addressing underlying issues can promote healthier, more resilient hair for African women, which is a major aim of Natures Gentle Touch Hair Institute.
