APC chieftain commends Tinubu, Barau for NWDC bill

Adamu Muktar Gini, a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Kano State and Chairman of the Coalition of APC Youth Movement in Kano, has commended President Bola Tinubu and Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau for their dedication to the development of Nigeria’s north-west region. Gini was reacting to the recent signing of the North-West Development Commission (NWDC) Bill into law by the President, describing it as a “landmark decision.”

The Bill, championed by Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, aims to tackle the numerous challenges facing the North-West geopolitical zone. In a statement released on Friday, Gini highlighted the transformative potential of this initiative, which promises to catalyse sustainable development, enhance economic opportunities, and improve the quality of life for the people in the region.

“I, Honourable Adamu Muktar Unguwar Gini, Chairman of the Coalition of APC Youth Movements in Kano State, extend my heartfelt commendation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his exemplary leadership in signing the North-West Development Commission Bill into law. This landmark decision underscores President Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to the development and prosperity of the North-West region,” the statement read.

Gini also expressed his gratitude to Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau for his vision and dedication in sponsoring the crucial Bill. “His efforts have paved the way for a transformative initiative that promises to catalyse sustainable development, enhance economic opportunities, and improve the quality of life for the people of the North-West,” Gini added.

The establishment of the North-West Development Commission is seen as a significant step towards achieving equitable development and harnessing the full potential of the diverse communities within the region. Gini further pledged the support of the APC Youth Movements in Kano State for the initiative, emphasising their commitment to its successful implementation.

“The Coalition of APC Youth Movements in Kano State pledges its unwavering support for this initiative and will work diligently to ensure its successful implementation. Together, we can build a brighter and more prosperous future for the North-West region and Nigeria as a whole,” Gini concluded.
