The Federal Government has appointed Prof Kola Musliu Owonikoko as the Acting Chief Medical Director of the University Teaching Hospital of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila Orangun.

The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, announced the appointment on behalf of the government.
With this announcement, the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila Orangun now has its pioneer Chief Medical Director. This was after the Federal Ministry of Health approved its College of Medicine.

“While congratulating the University, Ila Orangun community, and the whole nation, we express our sincere appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic, ” said the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Akeem Olawale Lasisi.
