Day 1: A warm welcome in Casablanca
Casablanca greeted us with its warm charm as soon as we touched down at Mohammed V International Airport. Our first stop was a luxurious hotel, where we indulged in a sumptuous lunch featuring traditional Moroccan dishes.
After a delightful meal, we enjoyed swimming sessions, Moroccan Hamam, and a revitalising body scrub that left us refreshed for the evening ahead. Then, a delightful dinner cocktail set the perfect tone for the days to come.
Day 2: Exploring Tangier
A scenic journey took us to Tangier, a captivating city where old-world charm meets modernity.
One of the highlights was visiting The Lighthouse, which offers panoramic views of the meeting point of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Dinner at a local restaurant later that day was a gastronomic delight and the perfect way to end the day.
Day 3: The blue city of Chefchaouen
We ventured to the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen. Known for its striking blue-washed buildings, the city is a photographer’s paradise.
After enjoying a delicious lunch in Medina, we embarked on a guided tour, marvelling at the city’s mountainous landscapes. As evening fell, we checked into a beautiful hotel and were fortunate to witness a traditional Moroccan wedding, complete with vibrant music and dance.
Day 4: The journey to Marrakech
Lunch in Marrakech was a delightful prelude to our stay at the luxurious and elite-class hotel. Each suite, with its expansive living room, bedroom, and private blue water pool, was a sanctuary of opulence. Dinner at the hotel was an elegant affair, setting the stage for our exploration of this historic city.
Day 5: Immersed in Marrakech’s culture
Our visit to the Confluence Museum offered deep insights into Morocco’s diverse cultural heritage. A stroll through the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa Square was an experience in itself, with its bustling markets and street performers. Lunch at a city restaurant provided a welcome rest after the stroll.
Later in the day, at a club, the nightlife in Morocco came alive. A live band, performers, and entertainers created a convivial atmosphere, complemented by exquisite food.
