Major offices across the Federal Capital Territory, especially the Federal Secretariat have been deserted as security forces take over the city.

While protesters have broken into the street from the National Stadium, the Federal Secretariat as well as the Eagle Square is under heavy security.

The military and armour tanks have also been deployed to the entrance of the Presidential Villa and National Assembly.

Numerous anti-riot Police officers are present at Eagle Square as others are seated across the length of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs into the Head of Service of the Federation inward the Presidential Villa.

Although the city is relatively calm with fewer movements of people and vehicles, the presence of security forces across major locations creates tension.
