A boardroom guru and a former Chairman of Ecobank Nigeria Ltd., John Agboola Odeyemi, has been slated to tell his life story at the God in My Life series, a personality, testimonial programme organised periodically by Torchbearers Society of Archbishop Vining Memorial Cathedral Church (AVMCC) in Ikeja, Lagos.

According to the Vice President of Torchbearers Society and Coordinator of the programme, Olajide Afolabi, the event, which will hold on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 4:000 p.m., is a platform for successful Nigerians to share their life experiences, especially God’s favour in their successes.

“It is designed to feed Nigerians with the wealth of experiences of successful Nigerians. It is our belief that by so doing, we will be contributing to the growth of the Nigerian society,” he said.

The event, which will take place at Archbishop Vining Cathedral has the Dean of the Cathedral, Ven. Ebenezer Adewole as the host; and the Bishop of Lagos West, Rt. Rev. James Odedeji, as the chief host.

According to Afolabi, previous speakers at the programme include Emeka Anyaoku, Michael Ade Ojo, Olusegun Osunkeye, Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi, Dr Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosumu, Olusegun Obasanjo, and the late Otunba Michael Subomi Balogun, among others.

The programme, Afolabi added, had more than 25 episodes so far.
