“Consistency, focus and passion are key to success in this industry. As a food entrepreneur, I’ve learned to stay focused on my mission towards sharing African cuisine with the world and empowering others to pursue their passions.”

Her influence extends beyond the digital realm. Her YouTube channel has over 450,000 subscribers, and her social media presence is impressive, with over four million Facebook followers and a large following on TikTok and Instagram. “To succeed in this industry, entrepreneurs must be innovative, adaptable and committed to quality. By supporting local food systems and empowering entrepreneurs, we can create a more food-secure Africa,” she said.

Recognising the potential within her community, Ngozi launched the Joyful Cook Academy, empowering young people and families to turn their culinary passion into profitable food businesses. “Empowering others is crucial to my journey and I believe that food has the power to bring people together and create opportunities for growth and development.”

Her dedication to showcasing African cuisine has garnered prestigious recognitions, a testament to her significant contributions to food security and cultural appreciation in Africa. “Success is not just about achieving goals; it’s about inspiring others to pursue their passions. I’m honoured to be a role model for young women and entrepreneurs and I’m committed to continuing to break barriers and push boundaries in the food industry,” she said.
