
Edosa said at Oredo Ward 10 on Tuesday in Benin, where he commissioned one of the boreholes, that the aim was to check waterborne diseases in his constituency.
According to him, when people are healthy, they will contribute their quota to the development of their community.
Edosa reiterated that one of the duties of government was to provide basic amenities to the people.
“So, if you give clean portable water to the citizens, you are able to prevent diseases like cholera, for instance,” he said.

He noted that cholera would be a problem of the past if people had clean pipe-borne water.
Edosa said that the boreholes were solar-powered boreholes.
He emphasized that health was his priority, aside security and education.
“If we focus on these, our society will be a better place to live in,” he said.
The lawmaker said he had plans to install over 150 street lamps in strategic places to combat crime and criminality in the state.
Commending the lawmaker, one ward leaders, Mr Sunday Iyodo said the community had suffered from portable water for a long time.
Iyodo lauded the lawmaker for the project.
