Olu of Warri to host dialogue on Africa’s transformation

In bid to chart a new narrative among global impact makers, the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, and wife, Olori Atuwatse III, are set to lead notable leaders and visionaries to drive positive change on the Africa continent. 
  
According to a statement endorsed by the royal couple, the initiative, called ‘Elevate Africa,’ is designed not only to showcase Africa’s potential, but to also create a platform where African voices can lead the conversation on their own development.
  
Among the distinguished speakers at the event is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rokel Commercial Bank, Sierra Leone, Dr Walton Ekundayo Gilpin, who will share insights on financial empowerment in Africa.
  
The event will also feature the Deputy Minister for Mines and Mineral Resources of Sierra Leone, Umaru Napoleon Koroma, who will discuss sustainable mining practices, a critical issue for the continent’s future.

A member of the Georgia House of Representatives, United States of America (U.S.A), Kim Schofield, will explore the intersections of policy and leadership, underscoring the global influence of African Diaspora leaders and other critical issues affecting Africa’s growth trajectory. 
  
Beyond speeches, the Olu of Warri expressed commitment that the platform will also empower the next generation of African leaders, adding that the fellowship aligns with their vision of fostering innovation and sustainable solutions that resonate beyond Africa’s borders.
