BBNaija S9: Aces, DoubleKay, Radicals, Wanni x Handi on the chopping block…who goes tomorrow

As the ongoing reality TV show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 dubbed ‘No Loose Guard’ inch closer to the halfway mark, the dynamics and relationships among the housemates are only getting juicier.

Whether it’s playful banter, sneaky shade, sly manipulations or the ever-evolving love connections, the house is filled with all sorts of drama. Every day in the house reveals a new wave of drama and emotional entanglements, as relationships and friendships continue to evolve in surprising ways. The housemates are keeping viewers glued to their TV sets with their romantic tensions and sly manipulations vibes.

Meanwhile, housemates on the chopping block this week include, Aces, Doublekay, Radicals, and Wanni x Handi. They will be facing possible eviction in tomorrow’s live eviction show.

On the night, the Radicals had six nominations, a development that shows that are in the bad book of most housemates or they are strong contenders for the N100 million grand prize win. Here is how the nomination went down.

Beta nominated Aces and DoubleKay for the same reasons as HoH Shatoria. Ben mentioned DoubleKay, while Tjay picked Aces. For Chekas it was a fight for the feminine gender. “We have more boys than girls, so we are putting up Aces,” Chizoba said firmly. It seems the girls find the Nelita pair (Nelly and Anita) to be a strong contender.

The Mbadiwe Twins nominated DoubleKay and the Radicals. For Ocee, his issue with DoubleKay on Saturday created an ‘atmosphere’, while Ozee mentioned that they nominated the Radicals because their altercation with Fairme David on Saturday probably meant that the Radicals would also nominate them.

According to Topher, Aces nominated the Radicals because they have been isolating themselves, while Beta “for the same reason as the last time”. One wonders what the reason was last time.

Like guessed, the Radicals went for the Mbadiwe Twins and Wanni x Handi. Michky said Wanni x Handi are beginning to do something that irritates him. There is a restroom drama which he is not letting go anytime soon, following Wanni’s spraying of deodorant in the locker area as she try to shade him, claiming the place was smelling after he used the toilet. Fuming over the action, he found a sympathetic ear in Anita.

What started as a small irritation has spiraled into something much bigger, with Michky even citing it as his reason for nominating the twins this week.

As for Fairme David, there is no reason for nominating the Mbadiwe Twins. Though some people might think it’s because of the Saturday altercation. “I’m close to them, but not as close as I am to everyone else,” he added.

Nelita’s nomination of the Radicals and Wanni x Handi didn’t seem to be based on anything. The lantern friends vowed to give everyone a chance on their nominations’ list.

“No special reason for it,” Anita insisted even as Biggie was not well convinced of her reason. “We’ve decided to nominate different pairs each time we need to. It’s a game, so anyone can nominate us too, we don’t mind,” Nelly said firmly.

The married couple, DoubleKay, who have consistently been nominated every week since their entry into the luxurious Biggie mansion, opted for Chekas and Radicals, saying they seem strong and they wouldn’t want to be up against strong pairs.
