Tinubu, Buhari, Shettima, Osinbajo billed to attend APC caucus parley

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has finally fixed 11th and 12th of this month for the caucus and national executive committee (NEC) with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Sen Kashim Shettima in attendance at both parley.

Billed to attend the caucus meeting to be held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential villa are the former President Muhammadu Buhari, his deputy Prof Yemi Osinbajo, the former National chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, Sen Adams Oshiomhole, Sen Abdullahi Adamu and his successor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

Others expected at the parley are past and serving governors, principal officers of the national Assembly and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and other select members of the party.

APC’s national secretary, Dr Surajudeen Ajibola in a notification on Monday explained that both the NEC and caucus meeting is in line with the provisions of Article 12.3 and 12.5 of the party constitution.

He disclosed that the NEC meeting except for former President Buhari, Osinbajo and former chairmen and Governors of the party would be held on the 12th of this month at the Nicon Hilton Hotel Abuja.
