The IG Aguowo Health and Academic Foundation proudly awarded scholarships to 250 deserving students during its 5th Annual Scholarship Awards, held on August 30, 2024, at the International Conference Centre in Awka, Anambra State.
The foundation, founded by Ichie (Ozo) Ignatius Onyeka Aguowo, has been instrumental in supporting education and healthcare initiatives since 2021, providing fully funded scholarships to over 600 students and assisting in the renovation of schools in need.
This year’s ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries, including Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma Udeh, members of the De Imperial Philanthropic Family led by President Dr Darlington Nwabunike, Dr Frank Igbojindu, CEO of Best Brain Contest, the Anambra State Head of Service, HM Ezeike of Nibo, High Chief Ebuka Onunkwo of Sea Horse Group, Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo, and many others who share the foundation’s vision of empowering the next generation through education.
In his address, Ichie Aguowo reiterated his commitment to uplifting 10,000 students through education and urged all beneficiaries to dedicate themselves to their studies, reminding them to believe in their potential to achieve greatness.
