The General Overseer, Vineyard Christian Ministries, Archbishop John EnitanOsa-Oni has called on believers to change their mindset and be part of nation-building by making their presence felt in key areas of governance. He gave the call at the thanksgiving service to mark the end of a 7-day kingdom event tagged:“Kingdom Celebration 2024” with“Ever Increasing Greatness,” as theme.

Held at the Church’s headquarters, Ajao Estate, Isolo, Osa-Oni emphasised the imperativeness of believers keying into ever increasing greatness of God who does not want us to stop halfway, adding that God never permits us to be stoppers, but wants us to always get to the end of all our endeavours.

“We need to get involved in the five spheres of life. We need Christians in the House of Assembly, in government at the Federal level, in the Senate and in every area of governance as well as in the military.We need to start from somewhere, no matter how small, as anything that is not started cannot grow. This is the reason for having this theme: “Ever Increasing Greatness,” he said.

He remarked that greatness comes from God and believers should push themselves to those positions of greatness, adding that the Church should prepare believers to be influential in every sphere of life, emphasising that believers must get involved.

The Cleric also called on Nigerians to embark on agriculture no matter how insignificant it may be, while referring to Olusegun Obasanjo led-administration who initiated “Operation Feed the Nation (OFN),” when he was the military Head of State. He called on Nigerians to work on themselves, so that; the country can be great again.He hinged the present hardship on inflation, adding that government is working to improve the situation.
