Controversial street pop star Portable has revealed the reason behind his falling out with Afrobeats superstar Davido.

In a recent interview on Echo Room, Portable revealed that Zlatan Ibile played a role in the rift between him and Davido.

Earlier this year, Portable met up with Davido in the United States, and the two artistes hit it off.

Davido even gifted Portable a pair of sneakers as a token of their friendship.

However, things took a turn for the worse when Portable began to accuse Zlatan of spreading false rumours about him to Davido.

According to the Zazu crooner, he was trying to connect with a foreign artiste for a collaboration when Davido reached out to him.

While spending time with Davido, Portable claimed that Zlatan advised OBO to be cautious of associating with him.

Following the public feud, Portable eventually apologised to Davido, and the two artistes have since reconciled.

However, this is not the first time Portable has been involved in a high-profile dispute with a fellow celebrity.

Earlier this year, he also had disagreements with socialite Bobrisky and musician Goya Menor.
