Diction360 Hub, initially established in 2013 as Sound Hub Nigeria, was officially incorporated in 2021 with a mission to help individuals improve their communication in the English language. “Communication is essential, and the English language is a global tool. If we must speak the language, why not speak it right?” Isi says, explaining the core philosophy of her work. Since its inception, Diction360 Hub has provided training for schools, corporate organizations, and individuals alike, both online and onsite.
At the heart of Diction360’s training programs is the goal of turning timid speakers into confident communicators. Through courses on public speaking, business communication, and elocution, Isi has helped people from all walks of life polish their communication skills. “Your style of communication is your personality,” Isi often reminds her trainees. This belief drives her to not only teach communication but to inspire transformation in the people she works with.
Alongside her work as a trainer, Isi is also an accomplished author. She has written several ebooks, including Common English Errors by Nigerians and 7 Ways to Overcome Stage Fright, which serve as practical guides for improving communication and overcoming public speaking challenges. These books not only highlight common language mistakes but also provide practical solutions and strategies to help readers become more confident and articulate speakers. Through her writing and training, Isi continues to empower professionals and individuals to excel in both formal and informal settings.
Some of Diction360 Hub’s high-profile clients include Berger Paints Nigeria, Corona College of Education, and the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) Lagos Chapter. Currently, the company is collaborating with EDVES and Corona College of Education to increase the awareness of teaching elocution in schools for educators. Additionally, registration is now open for the next cohort of their flagship course, Errors to Accuracy (ETA), which teaches professionals how to avoid common mistakes in English communication.
For Isi, the journey began unexpectedly. “My passion for the English language grew after I took a course in Presentation at FRCN, now the Broadcast Academy,” she explains. Since then, her commitment to helping others overcome communication barriers has been unwavering.
“Effective communication goes beyond just speaking well; it’s also about connecting with your audience and leaving a lasting impression,” Isi concludes.
In the future, Isi’s goal is to continue collaborating with corporate institutions to refine communication skills across various sectors. As she puts it, “Competition makes us faster, collaboration makes us better.”
