He said: “The process of making my music is basically getting a revelation or inspiration from the Holy Spirit and then creating a skeletal musical melody before figuring out what lyrics works or not. And this is because God never made a chair or table, He just made a tree and the rest was up to us. It’s the Glory of God to conceal a thing and pleasure of Kings to search it out.”
The Iseyin, Oyo State native, who is known for creating songs such as Miracle No Dey Tire Jesus, Evidence Don Dey, amongst others, said he has featured in concerts such as, StarHub Unbound, Aramanda, Beans Hangout, Spokeinward, Kings 5th Anniversary, Wake Up Nigeria, Daystar Joy FM, Daystar Exhale, Parlour Worship, Spark Up Fest and so on.
According to him, “what he is currently doing is by the grace of God, because God could have used anybody to do it.” Born April 16, 1994, the young musician and minister of the gospel is multi-talented. He plays instruments like piano, guitar, saxophone, and so on. He also takes pleasure in tutoring others in musical theory, songwriting, stage management, showmanship and spiritual maturity regarding Music ministry.

Sharing his journey into Gospel music with The Guardian, Thompson, said: “It was in 2016, during Night of Worship hosted by Redeemed Christian Church of God, Joshua Ville parish, when God showed me what I was actually meant to do even if I was already into another kind of music.”
He recalled: “It was what sparked my interest in gospel music. It was a revelation from the story of the Passover and how every Israelite had a lamb’s blood on their doorpost and it was not a state of ‘God knows my heart’, so, no need for the blood on my doorpost. There was an outward expression of the inward believer.” He said, “ever since, my music has evolved into different genres into diverse collaborations: From rock to soul, afro to drill.”
“As a gospel artiste/minister the challenges I face are basically the dogmatic traditional mindset that “gospel music” should be a certain genre. These doctrines are the major challenges.”
Mayor currently serves at Daystar Christian Centre as a worship leader and Co-centre coordinator. His work and craft can be found on any distribution platform, globally.
