
Onyenji who stated this in an interview with newsmen in Awka on Saturday, also said that the project would create massive job opportunities when completed.
Recall that a private firm, Soulcity Integrated Resource Limited, recently began the Smart City project, a tourism town in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area.
Onyenji said that the project was a demonstration of the “Think Home Philosophy” of the state government.
The commissioner urged private entrepreneurs to partner the state government to implement projects that would have positive impacts on the people.

“I urge our entrepreneurs all over the world to come back home and key into the ‘Think Home Philosophy’ of the state government,” he said.
He said that the Gov. Charles Soludo-led administration had created a conducive environment for investments to thrive.
“The government is open to genuine investors, the environment is safe and secure. We urge investors to take advantage of this opportunity,” he said.
Also speaking, Mr Nnamdi Nwokoye, the Chief Executive Officer, Soul city Integrated Resource Limited, said that the tourism town would create no fewer than 50 thousand jobs.
“What we are developing is a smart city, it will have components such as sporting, banking, education and residential facilities among others.
“The city is a project that will showcase the state to the world as a great tourist destination,” he said.

He said that the major dream behind the project was to put Anambra on the path of sustainable development.
“Other investors are urged to bring their resources home, it is our collective duty to support the development of our state,” he said.
