Beauty In The Motherland has returned with a renewed strategy, vigor and commitment to African beauty industry in this year’s exhibition.

This year, Beauty In The Motherland opened its doors to over 150 exhibitors and beauty businesses in Africa continent, also marking its second year with over 5000 visitors registered.

During its Meetup and Press Conference held in Karimu Kotun, Victoria Island, Lagos, Founder/CEO, Nectar Beauty Hub, Beatrice Eneh explained that Beauty In The Motherland will bring together incredible talents that need to be showcased and supported to scale even to global markets, but the enabling environment to enable them to thrive has not been created.

She added that adequate data is required for the industry to thrive.

She said: “Our beauty industry is not properly explored because there is no structure and inadequate data for the sector to drive growth.”

Eneh encouraged the beauty sector to continue to create products for the local economy so it can shared with the international beauty industry. She said that, “We have to showcase the Beauty in Africa, Beauty In The Motherland to the world.”

With such high demand, the event sponsored by Fidelity Bank, Eucerin, Lagos State Tourism and Nectar Beauty Hub, will be open to professionals in the Beauty Industry as well as the general public.

Also in attendance at the press pally, the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Toke Benson-Awoyinka who express optimism and the potential the upcoming event will creaate, said she appreciated the beauty industry and would continue to support its development for a long time to come.

Beauty in the Motherland remains the biggest Beauty conference, exhibition and awards and will begin this Tuesday 1 October to 3 October, 2024 at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos.

Beauty in the Motherland is Africa’s premier beauty exhibition and conference, showcasing the diversity, creativity, and potential of the African beauty industry.

Organized by a team with over 10 decades of cumulative experience in the African beauty market, the event brings together brands, professionals, and decision-makers to explore opportunities, build connections, and celebrate the beauty of the continent.
