Energy solution provider, Hyde Energy, has partnered with Lagos State chapters of the Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) and the Motor Mechanics and Technicians Association of Nigeria (MOMTAN) to endorse a mechanic-oriented project as part of its #MyMechanicMyHero initiative.
The partnership forms a key part of Hyde’s ongoing #MyMechanicMyHero campaign, which supports and celebrates the vital role mechanics play in the nation’s automobile sector.
According to the firm, the partnership is part of Hyde’s broader commitment to impacting the automotive industry in Nigeria. The firm said the campaign and the Hyde Cup #Mechanics Champions League, a six-week football tournament extravaganza, brought together artisans from 140 mechanic villages across Lagos State.
The initiative ended in an award ceremony where over N5 million worth of products were distributed among the winning team, runners-up, and standout players.
It served as a foundation for building stronger ties among mechanics, as well as enhancing their technical capabilities.
Meanwhile, the firm was honoured with the “Most Supportive Partner of the Year 2024″ award by the Lagos chapter of NATA.
