Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, stated that President Tinubu is expected to address the crisis at the summit, reiterating Nigeria’s call for an immediate ceasefire and stressing the urgent need for a peaceful resolution.
Tinubu will also advocate for renewed international efforts to revive the two-state solution as a long-term pathway to peace in the region.
“Nigeria will continue to push for renewed efforts towards a lasting resolution,” Onanuga confirmed.
The summit will officially begin on Monday, November 11, 2024.
