With online scams, payment delays, and transactional disputes on the rise, Nigerian businesses and individuals are increasingly wary of high-stakes digital transactions.

At TechCabal’s Moonshot 2024, a prominent tech entrepreneur, Joseph Osarhiemen, announced the launch of Poggah, a fintech platform designed to tackle these issues and enhance security in the Nigerian digital landscape.

Osarhiemen, the founder of Credevnet’s iRecplus, a widely-used cloud-based inventory system, introduced Poggah as a secure and reliable solution for online financial transactions.

He explained that the mission is to minimise risks in digital transactions, highlighting that Poggah enforces adherence to agreed-upon terms before funds are exchanged.

According to him, by adding layers of transparency, Poggah aims to significantly reduce disputes and provide greater security to users.

He said since its founding over a year ago, Poggah has gained traction by offering a range of features, including virtual accounts for business transactions and real-time monitoring.

Osarhiemen explained that these tools give users seamless access to funds, while tracking payments securely, addressing common concerns about security breaches and delays in transaction completion.

Osarhiemen emphasised that Poggah sets a new standard in digital transaction trust, helping Nigerian businesses confidently navigate the digital financial world.

He said the platform is tailored to meet the needs of various industries, including logistics and healthcare, demonstrating versatility that enhances its value across sectors.

He said with its focus on simplicity, transparency, and security, Poggah is positioned to transform the landscape of digital transactions in Nigeria.

Osarhiemen encouraged Nigerians to explore the platform, confident that it will inspire greater confidence in the digital economy.

He said as online payment scams continue to pose challenges, Poggah stands as a promising solution, offering Nigerians a more secure and trustworthy option for managing digital transactions.
