Thematic celebrations of praise and worship herald the 2024 advent season with concerts, awards, and chart-topping releases, capturing the hearts of millions on stages, streams, and across the mediascape.

Renowned gospel music minister Moses Bliss, leads the charge with increased activities ahead of the nativity season, starting with the “Bliss Experience” concert in London on August 18 and later in Abuja on October 25, 2024.

Bliss, who recently delivered energetic, soul-lifting renditions during Sinach’s November 3rd “Victory Sounds” Concert at the Velodrome, Abuja, also drew international participation for his Moses Bliss Challenge, held during his Bliss Experience. He further showed support for Nathaniel Bassey’s “14 Days October Hallelujah Challenge,” which ran from October 14 to 27, 2024.

With streaming services such as Boomplay, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Audiomack, and others levelling the playing field for gospel music artistes, the industry has witnessed remarkable advancements and prospects.

Moses Bliss already boasts over 100 million streams on Spotify and Boomplay Music. Some of his most popular tracks on Spotify in 2024 include: “You Are Great” with 11,086,907 streams; “E Dey Flow” with 3,425,273 streams; “Kumama Papa” with 13,199,201 streams; and “Too Faithful” with 14,016,350 streams.

Known for his soul-stirring voice, powerful lyrics, and uplifting message, Moses Bliss has quickly risen to prominence, establishing himself as a global ambassador for the gospel genre and winning prestigious international awards.

His recent hit single “E Dey Flow” has resonated with listeners worldwide, amassing over 3.5 million streams on Spotify alone. This is second only to “You Are Great”, which has recorded over 11 million streams on Spotify and similar numbers on Boomplay. The song’s message of hope and faith has struck a chord with audiences, making it one of the most-streamed gospel tracks of the year.

In addition to his streaming success, Moses Bliss earned critical acclaim in 2024, securing awards at notable global music events, including the African Achievers Award for Excellence in Contemporary Music, held at the House of Lords, UK. He was also presented with a Certificate of Recognition by the Mayor of Brampton in Ontario, Canada, Patrick Brown.

He has been praised for his unique blend of contemporary sound and traditional gospel roots, especially his ability to bridge the old with the new, joining a wave of artistes taking gospel music to a broader international audience.

Moses Bliss attributes his success to his unwavering belief in God, the support of his family and fans, his deep faith, and his desire to inspire others.

Bliss started his career in 2017 with the release of his debut single, “E No Dey Fall My Hand”. He followed with “Too Faithful” in 2019 and “Bigger Everyday” in 2020, continuing on a glorious path of growth since then. His marriage to Ghanaian London-based lawyer, Marie Wiseborn, on March 3, 2024, marked another milestone in his journey.

His 2024 release, “Love Testament EP”, has joined his growing list of accolades, expanding his fanbase and solidifying his position as one of the most influential figures in gospel music today.
