
Ahead of its 2024 Nigeria Media Awards, Nestle Nigeria has unveiled a panel of judges for the event meant to recognise and celebrate journalistic excellence across the federation.
In its fourth edition, the programme recognises and rewards media professionals, who skillfully highlight critical issues around nutrition security, environmental sustainability and socio-economic development.
Corporate Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability Lead at Nestlé Nigeria, Victoria Uwadoka, said the awards are part of the company’s commitment to empowering the media and enabling them to carry out their role of providing fact-based reportage to improve the nutrition and behavioural choices of the public.
She said: “We are happy to have such a distinguished panel of judges for this year’s Nestlé Media Awards. We count on their expertise in media studies, journalism, nutrition and sustainability to bring a fresh perspective to this year’s awards.”
Uwadoka stated that this year’s entries would be assessed based on alignment with key thematic areas, including Nutrition and Affordable Food Solutions, Environmental Sustainability.
