The death has been announced of Comrade Benedicta A. Madunagu, who passed away at the age of 77.

Born in 1947, the late Comrade Madunagu passed peacefully yesterday, November 26, 2024, at her residence in Calabar.

In a statement yesterday, the Chair of Bot-Solar ,Jeyifo Biodun, described her as universally and affectionately known simply as “Bene.” He noted that her achievements and contributions to the struggles for equality, justice, and dignity for all were exceptional.

“Although this is not a tribute but a formal announcement, I wish to state here that my profound sense of loss in Bene’s passing is matched by an equally profound celebration of her life and achievements,” he said.
