“You need to build trust in leadership and strengthen your readability and reliability to enable optimal business success and sustainable outcomes,” she said.

President and Chairman of the Governing Council, CIPM, Ahmed Gobir, said with the disruption and change happening in the global space, he advised the about 406 new HR professionals on how they could contribute to helping businesses navigate the storms of uncertainty and how they can also foster a culture where employees not only adapt to change but embrace it.

He said: “You must remember that you are not just HR professionals; you are strategic architects, change catalysts and guardians of organisational culture. Your ability to harness the power of people, adapt policies and drive innovation will determine whether the businesses you serve will merely survive or truly thrive.

“As you join this elite circle of HR professionals, remember that agility starts with mindset, and resilience starts with action. Be the voice that challenges outdated practices. Be the bridge between leadership and teams, and always remember that your work impacts not just businesses but lives. You must remember that a bend in the road is not the end of the road… unless you fail to make the turn.
