Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, yesterday, reiterated his administration’s commitment to fostering sustainable development through continuous provision of efficient infrastructure.

Sanwo-Olu, who stated this during the commissioning of five roads and a bridge in the Alimosho area of the state, said that the commitment remained unwavering while the completion of the roads underscores his administration’s resolve to back words with action.

He said: “It gladdens my heart that we have completed the reconstruction of the Babafemi Dada link road and bridge, along with the Yinka Folarin, Jamiu Lawal, and Shalom Academy Road Network in Alimosho Local Council.

“This critical infrastructure project, delivered on schedule, reflects our dedication to improving the lives of Lagos residents through purposeful governance.

“For the good people of Alimosho, this is not just a road and bridge; it is a reaffirmation of our commitment to building infrastructure that serves both immediate needs and long-term growth.

“The infrastructure supports our broader vision of stimulating local economies and creating a framework for sustained growth. The project represents a significant leap forward in improving transportation, fostering economic activity, and ensuring the equitable distribution of infrastructure.”

He urged the residents to take pride in the achievement and commit to their maintenance and responsible use.
