Assembly reviews Oyo’s 2025 Appropriation Bill up by N6 billion
Oyo State House of Assembly has approved an upward review of the state’s budget, increasing it from N678 billion to N684 billion. The upward approval came, yesterday, after the House Committee on Finance, Appropriation and State Economic Planning presented its report and read by its Chairman, Sunkanmi Babalola, representing Egbeda State Constituency.
According to the Speaker, Adebo Ogundoyin, who presided over the plenary, one major reason for the upward review of the 2025 budget is to accommodate emerging priorities and critical projects that will drive economic growth, improve infrastructure, and enhance the overall well-being of our citizens.
