Keren Dimpka celebrates a decade of excellence in African broadcasting

From Nigeria to Kenya to South Africa and beyond, Kae’s work has left a mark on the African media landscape as her journey in media is not just about personal achievement but about creating impact. Through mentorship programmes she has supported young, aspiring voice actors, especially women, to pursue their dreams and thrive in their fields.
  
Kae has built a career that embodies dedication, creativity, and connection with her listeners. As the host of the popular radio show ‘The Shuffle Across Africa’, Keren has successfully kept her audience entertained and informed with discussions on music, lifestyle, sports, and culture.

Her show, which has gained a loyal following across Nigeria and Kenya, boasts an impressive listenership of over 1.5 million. Her contributions extend beyond the radio booth. She serves as the voice of SoundCity Africa, bringing her unique vocal style to the brand’s messaging. Her talents as a voice actor, producer, and event host have also earned her recognition within the industry. Last year, Kae took her work on the road, touring five cities in Kenya, hosting her radio show live, and connecting directly with fans. She also participated in the prestigious SoundCity MVP Awards as a presenter and collaborated with budding artists to give back to the creative community.
  
Kae’s journey began humbly at the University of Lagos on UNILAG Radio, where she discovered her passion for broadcasting. Over the years, she evolved into the voice of SoundCity Africa and eventually transitioned into a full-time radio presenter. To fine-tune her craft, she attended the prestigious Voice Box Voice Over Academy in Philadelphia, USA, honing her voice acting skills.
