
The commissioner represented by Mrs O.A Jaiyeola during the launching of Digital Interactive Board donated by Inmates Educational Foundation (IEF) in partnership with WOWBII Interactive for the Special Boys Correctional Centre, Oregun, appreciated the donors and promised to continue to work with them in transforming the lives of those behind bars in the state.
According to the Executive Director of (IEF), Mr Mahfuz Alabidun, it was the first-ever Digital Interactive Board in a Nigerian correctional centre.
“The Digital Interactive Board is designed to transform the teaching and learning of the young inmates by providing them with interactive and engaging learning experiences,” he said.
Alabidun added that his organisation is committed to liberating and reforming inmates in Nigeria through quality education and Digital literacy.
“This digital interactive board is a significant step towards achieving our goal,”he added.
Chief Executive Officer of WOWBII Interactive, Mr Gbolahan Olayomi, emphasised the need for transforming lives through technology.
“Education is a universal right, and every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves access to tools that equip them for a brighter future,” he said.
