Kefas urges Tarabans to stay vigilant, united during festive season
Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has called on residents to prioritise safety and remain vigilant as they celebrate the festive season.
Kefas in a statement by his Special Adviser Media and Digital Communications, Emmanuel Bello, assured citizens that his administration has put measures in place to ensure effective surveillance and security across the state.
He emphasised the importance of individual and collective efforts in maintaining a peaceful environment, urging residents to report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
Reaffirming his government’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property during and after the celebrations, he urged the citizens to imbibe the lessons of the season, which he said remained that of sacrificial giving and love.
“We all need to show each other compassion and love even as God loves us. The world would be a better place if we all try a little kindness to our neighbors all the time,” Kefas said.
The governor noted that “the world would be a better place if we all try a little kindness to our neighbors all the time.”
The governor also applauded the way and manner Tarabans have accepted the fact that “we can be tolerant towards one another irrespective of our faiths”, saying “the plurality has helped us to understand each other better, making us bond well.”
