The commandant of the 6 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa, has urged the newly promoted senior officers to recommit themselves to their duties as they assume their new ranks.
The decorations which took place in Jalingo, Taraba State celebrated the elevation of three officers.
While Lieutenant Colonel AO Ogidan, Commanding Officer of the 20 Model Battalion, was promoted to the rank of Colonel, Majors MJ Mohammad and D Otobo were respectively elevated to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Speaking at the ceremony, Brigadier General Uwa congratulated the officers, describing their promotions as a testament to their hard work and dedication.

In their new roles, he emphasised the need for professionalism, commitment, and excellence.
