The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended three suspects involved in the assault of a female employee accused of theft at a boutique on Lagos Island.

Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this in an X post on Monday.

The case came to light after a viral video on X showed a woman being whipped with canes by three men.

The incident reportedly occurred at Don Maserati Classic Boutique on Lagos Island.

“Three suspects have been arrested, while efforts are on to apprehend other suspects and establish
contact with the victim,” Hundeyin said.

The Commissioner of Police, Olanrewaju Ishola, assures Lagosians that justice will be served.
