The Human Rights Advocacy Watch Campaign and the All Women League have expressed their shock and have demanded that justice should be done as a lady, Mrs Gloria Peter Ajine, was brutally murdered while harvesting vegetables on her farm on 15th December 2025.
The incident happened at Abeokuta North in Ilewo Orile in Ogun State.

The leadership of the CSOs, Mabel Ndinne, and Maureen Fineface, condemned the criminal act, especially as it affected women.

The group in a statement stated that the attack was not just against a person but against a community.
They said, “This brutal killing of Mrs Gloria Peter Ajine is not just an attack on one family but an attack on our collective humanity.

“It is heartbreaking that a woman, who was working to provide for her family, was cut down in such a horrific manner.
“This tragedy reflects the failure of the state to protect its citizens, particularly women, who are often more vulnerable to acts of violence in our society.”

The Organisations demanded transparency and accountability by the men of the Ogun State Police Command. They urged the police to launch an investigation into the matter so that justice would be done.
