PEBEC’s reforms to ensure justice for business owners

Princess Zahrah Mustapha Audu has been appointed as the Director-General of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC)

Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) has released its 2025 Outlook with a focus on driving legislative and judicial reforms to improve access to justice for business owners in the country.
  
Project Manager, PEBEC Secretariat, Aimeya Okpebholo, in a statement noted that the reforms were designed to boost investors’ confidence, streamline access to justice and create a more conducive environment for businesses to start and grow. 
  
She maintained that the PEBEC 2025 Outlook reaffirms the council’s commitment to driving critical business reforms through the Omnibus Bill 2.0, a landmark piece of legislation poised to transform Nigeria’s business landscape.

MEANWHILE, President Bola Tinubu has appointed Zahrah Mustapha Audu as the Director-General of PEBEC, a move aimed at improving Nigeria’s business climate and attracting foreign investments.
  
Zahrah, an entrepreneur and technology expert, is expected to bring her experience in business development, innovation and investment promotion to her new role.
  
She holds a background in software engineering and a business management degree from an institution in the United Kingdom.

Before her appointment, she served as the Technical Adviser on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to the President, based in the Office of the Vice President.
