The General Overseer, The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has called on Nigerians to give thanksto the Lord for so many things He has done and is still doing, adding that in this way God who loves appreciation will make this new year a landmark for everyone who believes and is consistently doing His will.
Adeboye gave the charge during the monthly and New Year thanksgiving service with the theme: “All Round Praise.” Held at RCCG headquarters, EbuteMetta, Lagos,
The Throne of Grace, attendeeswere given cooked food and raw food items.
Adeboye said: “The major problem associated with corona virus was the inability to breath, which was the reason every victim was looking for oxygen to survive. God took away the pandemic.”
He hinged the reason for thanksgiving on the fact that not all those that saw last year are living now and that many are rich, but cannot eat.
In the same vein, the Special Assistant to the General Overseer on Administration Dele Balogun, who doubles as the Pastor in charge (P-i-C) of Region 1, has called on Nigerians to appreciate God above all things for the relative peace in the country.
He urged those in the position of authority to know that they are called to be change agents and should use their privileged positions to showlove and help those they are ruling over, adding that God who created the leaders also created the led.
