The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, has reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force’s (NAF) unwavering commitment to national security, vowing to sustain relentless airstrikes against terrorists and criminal elements across the country.
Speaking at the NAF Administration and Personnel Management Seminar in Abuja on Wednesday, Air Marshal Abubakar said that the Air Force will continue to extend its operational reach to dismantle threats in ungoverned spaces.
“We will find, fix, and strike all those who take up arms against the State. Our resolve remains unshaken until Nigeria is safe for all,” he declared.
Noting the importance of sound administration in military effectiveness, the CAS noted that modernising human resource management (HRM) is crucial to sustaining NAF’s expansion.

He revealed ongoing improvements in personnel welfare, including enhanced medical facilities, expanded accommodation, and better insurance policies.
Under his leadership, he stated that over 2,972 personnel have benefited from new or renovated housing, while 601 personnel have undergone specialised training at the Nigerian Air Force Institute of Administrative Management (NAFIAM).
The Chief of Administration, Air Vice Marshal Idi Sani, underscored the seminar’s role in addressing manpower needs amid recent structural reforms in the NAF.
He stressed the necessity of transitioning from traditional skills to specialised expertise to meet evolving security challenges.
The two-day seminar, attended by top military and HR professionals, is expected to produce strategies to enhance NAF’s personnel management and reinforce its role in safeguarding national security.
