Uzodimma swears in five commissioners, others

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has charged the five newly sworn-in commissioners to discharge their duties with utmost integrity and transparency.

He also extended the same admonition to the members of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), Civil Service Commission (CSC); and the Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), also, inaugurated on Friday.

The five new commissioners are Prof. Boniface Nworgu, Dr. Anthony Mgbeahuruike, Kenneth Okafor, Chief Enyinnaya Onuegbu, a lawyer; and Dr. Ellias Emedom.

He urged the appointees to “maintain the highest ethical standards and resist any temptation to compromise their integrity.”

Uzodimma emphasized the importance of discharging their duties with fairness, justice, and transparency.

Expressing confidence in the appointees, Uzodimma advised them to take the opportunity as golden in showcasing their abilities to develop the state.

The governor charged them to improve the ranking of the state on the “ease of doing business” index, upscaling the achievements recorded by his administration.
