Nikon launches Z50II camera

Stakeholders in their large numbers participated at the launch of a new camera, Z50II, an affordable product with uncommon features described as a superpower.

Speaking at the event held at the Zone, Lagos, Managing Director, Nikon Middle East Africa, Narendra Menon, said Z50II is an affordable mirror-less camera, another Nikon innovation with extraordinary features that would capture everything that an average photographer, videographer and cinematographer require.

“It is called the powerhouse because of its uniqueness and effectiveness in the production of both still and motion pictures.
“The camera has the component of Artificial intelligence (AI) containing some other features that cannot be found in other brands,” he said.

Menon also harps on the affordability of the new product which is also good for the green horns in either photography or videography industry.

A Content Creator who took part in the demonstration of the new camera, Stephen Segal described Z50II as affordable super powerful camera with modern technology whose value is more than the price, a virtue that Nikon is known for.

“Its low light and mirror-less features distinguish it from other brands and make it a veritable tool in the hands of photographers and videographers and it is worthy of note that Nikon is accustomed to innovations that would always take photographers and videographers to the next level.”

Another Content creator who also took part in the demonstration of Z50II, Stephen Diamond described the camera as an impressive equipment that contains a lot of new things that are exceptional.

“The auto focusing and tracking system as well as the sensor in the camera are top notch which makes it a tool in the hands of an average photographer, cinematographer, YouTuber and blogger because of its ability to take pictures from any angle bordering on its good screen.

“It is good for upcoming photographers, content creators and interestingly, pocket friendly,” he said.

Managing Partner, Sigma 5 Enterprises and Consultant to Nikon and some other brands, Richard Eko said Z50II is an additional camera on Nikon stable with outstanding features.

He disclosed the on-going arrangement for collaboration with some local banks and Bank of Industry aimed at facilitating procurement of Z50II by any prospective buyer.

“Nikon has done its research (R&D) on this camera, hence, it is a groundbreaker in terms of its features and cost.

“Stakeholders that watched the demonstration were shocked at the features of the camera which is just the position of Nikon in the industry, always in the forefront. It does not compromise in the areas of consistency and quality.

“I have personally used a lot of cameras but yet to discover one that will give me 50 per cent of what I want without editing except Nikon camera.

“I pitch my tent with the school of thought that Nikon with these innovations is set to take its position as number one in Nigeria’s market in the areas of photography and video production. It is a performer,” he said.
