Popular street-hop singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has promised to stay out of trouble and focus on making money.
A Magistrates’ Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, Ogun State, granted him bail in the sum of ₦2 million after he was arraigned on charges of assaulting government officials at his bar.
The controversial singer made this declaration on his Instagram story on Friday, shortly after securing his freedom.
Portable, who had earlier been declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command, later surrendered himself to the authorities before facing legal proceedings.
“Alhamdulilahi for everything. ZAzuu. No more wahala, na money I dey look for. If you no get money, call God. :writing_hand::skin-tone-2:,” he wrote.

His legal troubles began after he allegedly attacked officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development during an enforcement exercise at his Odogwu Bar in Ota. Reports claim he arrived at the scene with nine others, allegedly armed with cutlasses, and confronted the officials.
Following the incident, Portable and his associates were charged with conspiracy, assault, obstruction, and conduct likely to cause harm. His nine aides were also arraigned for similar offences.
The Ogun State Government condemned his actions, describing him as a “serial dissident and unrepentant rascal.”
However, his lawyer, Oluwatoyin Ayodele, pleaded for bail, assuring the court that the singer had become remorseful and learned from the incident.
Reacting to the allegations, Portable had earlier claimed on Instagram that his troubles were politically motivated, stating that he was targeted because he wore a vest featuring Ogun West Senator Adeola Solomon (Yayi).
He also made claims about his mental health, saying he had a medical history at Aro Psychiatric Hospital.
