Chemstar Group, the parent company of Chemstar Paints Industry Nigeria Limited, has reaffirmed its commitment to recognising and rewarding customer loyalty as well as prioritising the welfare of its workers through supportive policies, despite the tough business environment.
Speaking at the 2025 Customers’ Forum in Lagos, its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Aderemi Awode, assured distributors and customers that Chemstar would continue to value their contributions to the company’s growth.
He acknowledged the challenges businesses face in the country, including insecurity, poor road networks, inadequate infrastructure, and economic hardship, which make it increasingly difficult for manufacturers to do business.
Awode commended customers for their resilience, noting that the event also marked the company’s 30th anniversary, celebrating its transformation from a small operation on Kayode Street, Ogba, in 1995 into a major player in Nigeria’s chemical industry.
Awode reaffirmed the management’s commitment to implementing robust measures to boost workers’ morale, equipping them with necessary resources and encouraging enhanced performance and optimal productivity.
He emphasised that the company’s yearly reward and recognition system, established over 25 years ago, remains a key part of Chemstar’s dedication to appreciating its distributors across Nigeria and beyond.
“The 30 years of our company is about celebrating and appreciating our esteemed customers for their loyalty to our products and for standing by the industry despite all odds.
Without our customers, we would not be where we are today,” Awode stated. As part of the event, customers from six regional zones were recognised for their outstanding patronage.
They received high-value prizes, including deep freezers, smart televisions, recognition plaques, and cash gifts. Awode encouraged customers to continue their patronage and loyalty as Chemstar Group prepares for its next growth phase.
He reinforced the company’s longstanding tradition of fostering strong relationships with distributors while positioning itself for sustained expansion in Nigeria’s evolving business landscape.
