The senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ireti Kingibe, has said that Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has enjoyed more privileges than any other senator in the tenth National Assembly.

“The truth is, Senator Natasha has gotten the most privileges among all four of us (female senators). The seat I sit on now has been moved four times,” said Kingibe.

Akpoti-Uduaghan is a senator representing Kogi Central and one of the four female lawmakers in the Nigerian Senate.

The Kogi lawmaker recently locked horns with the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, over a change in seating arrangements.

In a recent development, the Kogi lawmaker revealed that the Senate President was fighting her because she rejected his sexual advances.

While speaking to Arise News on Friday, Kingibe faulted Akpoti-Uduaghan for getting into a heated argument with the Senate President.

According to Kingibe, Natasha was not the only lawmaker whose seat was changed that day.

She said, “The Senate is not a place where we are supposed to fight over trivialities like seating arrangements.

“This is about the rules of the senate. So if I can point out that other women have been moved several times on that day, I wasn’t there, but I gathered that several men were also moved.”
